I am a Bay Area California girl, English Creative Writing/Japanese major, currently teaching English to elementary schoolers in Japan with the JET Program, aiming for translation/tutoring work. I am also a spirit-filled Christian working out my freedom and salvation; for the past few years, my perspective on life and spiritual issues have been evolving very quickly.

Future aspirations: fantasy novelist and literary translator
I love: fencing, knitting, embroidery, doodling imaginary people, writing, playing piano, singing and karaoke, watching anime
Favorite music: indie, rock, alternative, vocaloid, J-pop
Languages: English (mother tongue), Spanish (un poco, es práctico pero no me gusta la lengua), and Japanese (日本語が好きだから、今勉強しています). Interested in learning Hebrew.
Favorite color: deep “jewel” colors, especially reds and magentas, but also blue and green
Places I’d like to visit: Korea, Great Britain, Germany, Italy, New Zealand, Australia
